Something feels off in your work. And you can’t quite pinpoint it.

It’s harder to find your people when you don’t fully trust what you’re here to do.

I created the ROOTS AUDIT for radical creators like you, who are building new ways of living, working, and making community -  and starting to doubt if your vision is too big or unconventional to actually make real.

You get a personalized, 20+ minute video report that reveals the root pattern stalling your vision and diluting your message.

Stop chasing 99 problems. Deal with your 1 real problem instead.

Like most radical creators, you’re caught up playing Whack-a-Mole with symptoms disguised as problems.

You get blank stares when you talk about what you're up to. So you decide it's a messaging problem and spend hours chasing after the perfect words to describe your vision.

You're inconsistent and have a hard time focusing on your work. So you decide it's a discipline problem and spend hours reading time management books and shopping for a new planner.

You feel lonely and long for a community of like-minded people to build with. But you doubt that you're good enough. So you diagnose yourself with Imposter Syndrome and sign up for a coaching program to fix it.

Things shift for a second. You get a spark of clarity, a burst of momentum. Then things stall out again, and the next problem pops up.

This cycle is especially frustrating because you're deeply self-aware. You've spent years — sometimes decades — in therapy, coaching, and spiritual practice. You've given yourself to movements, causes, and other people's missions. And now that you're finally trying to bring your own vision to life, you're moving so much slower than you know you can.

Meanwhile, you're starting to doubt that your vision is even possible. And worse — that you're the person capable of bringing it to life.

Your ideas are aging inside you. And you don't know how much longer you can hold on before you either give up for real or settle for some diluted version of what you actually see.

But here's the thing: you're not the problem.

The problem is that you're running a pattern — a specific, well-researched pattern that you've been running so long, you've mistaken it for your personality.

I'm talking about your pattern of self-betrayal.

Patterns of self-betrayal manifest in your body, your actions, and your relationships.

All acts of self-betrayal stem from you being disloyal to your original nature — the unique essence of who you are and how you're specifically designed to move, create, and bring things into being.

It's what happens when you soften yourself to be more acceptable. When you accommodate to stay connected. When you shrink what you're saying so it fits inside a box it was never meant to fit.

These patterns don't start as flaws. They start as protection. At some point — probably a long time ago — you learned that being fully yourself carried a cost. That your most alive, most real expressions made people uncomfortable. That belonging required a certain kind of editing. So you adapted. Your whole self got smart — your body, your instincts, your mind — and developed a way to stay safe inside your relationships, inside your communities, and inside the rooms you wanted to stay in.

That strategy worked. It got you here. There's real wisdom in it.

But it was never meant to be permanent. And now it's running on autopilot and influencing how you relate to your work. It's the reason something feels off with your work. The reason you keep softening what you share. The reason you're waiting for validation from strangers that's never going to come. The reason you wonder if what you’re imagining is too big, too unconventional, too hard to explain. It's why you haven't yet claimed your role as the person your creative vision needs to come through.

Because when it comes to your creative vision: nobody else can carry it. It's not a general idea that just anyone could execute. It's something that can only come through you — through the specific way you see, the specific way you think, the specific way you're designed to move in the world. Which means the degree to which you're betraying your original nature is the exact degree to which your work is being held back.

This is what embodiment actually means.

Think about the teachers, leaders, and visionaries who stop you in your tracks. The ones you can't look away from. They're not compelling because they use the perfect words or work nonstop with no break. They're compelling because you can feel that they've fully claimed their vision. They're not performing it or presenting it — they're inhabiting it and allowing it to flow through them.

That's what becomes possible when self-betrayal loses its grip. You stop needing external validation to move forward. You stop waiting to be understood before you act. You become willing to take your ideas out of your head and into the world — to experiment, to learn, to let the work evolve through the doing of it. To stay in the uncertain, uncharted journey of building something that has never existed quite in this form before.

That's not a personality trait. It's what happens when you're rooted in your own original nature.

That's exactly what the ROOTS AUDIT is for.

In the ROOTS AUDIT  we pinpoint the specific pattern of self-betrayal that's in your way and explore the particular way it's showing up in your work, your relationships, and your creative vision right now.

You walk away with a clear name for what's creating all the symptoms you've been chasing. Three reflection prompts to help you understand exactly how that pattern is manifesting in your life, work, and relationships. And one personalized recommendation for meaningful action you can take to begin to interrupt your root pattern of self-betrayal — not a 99-step plan -  one tiny move that will begin to unravel this pattern.

Because once you can see the root problem, you stop chasing the symptoms.

And once you stop chasing the symptoms, you can finally put your energy toward the thing that actually matters — bringing what you see in your mind’s eye through, fully, in the way that only you can.

Hi, I’m Ije.

I spent more than 20 years inside movements dedicated to ending the violence that happens in our most intimate relationships. And here's what I saw over and over again.

The organizations with the most beautiful visions of justice and freedom — that used all the right language for transformative justice and community care — were often the places where people treated each other the worst behind closed doors. Conflicts festered. Executive Directors berated staff till they broke down in tears. Co-workers sent passive-aggressive emails daily. Basically, we enacted the same harm our work was meant to address in the world.

This was an embodiment failure. A gap between what we said we believed and how we actually showed up with each other. The source of that gap was the same pattern of self-betrayal running underneath both our personal relationships and our relationship with our work. It was here that I first understood something I haven’t been able to unsee since: the quality of our relationships shapes the quality of our world. And embodiment - actually acting on what we say we believe - is how the world changes for the better.

I've spent 20 years trying to understand this gap between vision and embodiment and the patterns of self-betrayal it grows from. I left organizing to earn a master's in counseling psychology. I spent my post-grad years learning advanced western and indigenous tools to address trauma, stress, and all the ways we learn to survive this world.

I built the ROOTS AUDIT because it's what I wish someone had pulled me aside and told me. Back in 2014, I left grad school with a vision to share my work outside of the traditional therapy model. For years, I circled and stalled - spending too much time preparing and not enough time actually putting my ideas out in the world.

I moved in cycles — real experiments, genuine momentum, work I was proud of. And then I'd shut down for a year or two before starting again. I couldn't figure out what kept interrupting my flow. I chased after symptoms. And spent time and money on solutions that didn’t go deep enough. It took me a long time to find the root pattern of self-betrayal underneath it all. When I finally did, I couldn't unknow it. I built the ROOTS AUDIT so you don’t take as long to find yours.

Here’s what changes when you get to the root…

You stop stalling when it comes to your creative vision. Not because you've finally found the right words, but because the war between what you envision and what you're willing to share is over. The friction lifts. Your work stops being filtered through layers of protection.

Your people start finding you. The ones who have been waiting for someone to say exactly what you're saying, in the way only you can say it. The isolation that's been the backdrop of all this work begins to lift.

And when people don't understand — when you're the only one in the room saying what you're saying — it no longer stops you. If anything, it reminds you why your voice matters. The doubt from outside stops being evidence that something is wrong and starts being confirmation that you're at the edge of something new. Exactly where you're supposed to be.

  • A set of questions and prompts designed to help you reflect on what keeps feeling stuck or off in your work, your creative vision, or your project. You don't need to write anything polished. Messy bullet points and half-formed thoughts are welcome. The form is built to draw out what matters, not to test your writing.

  • Most people spend between 20 and 45 minutes. Some take longer because the questions open things up. There's no deadline on the form itself. The 72-hour turnaround starts once you submit.

  • The people who get the most from this reading are often the most self-aware ones. What I name is rarely new information. It's a pattern that's been hiding in plain sight, framed in a way you haven't been able to see from inside it. The shift isn't in the information. It's in the angle.

  • No. What I name is not a character flaw. It's a strategy your whole self developed, probably a long time ago, to keep you safe. It worked. It got you here. The problem is that it's now running in every room of your life. Naming it is the first step to working with it instead of around it.

  • Embodiment isn't a place you arrive at and then teach from. It's an ongoing practice. The most honest thing you can do for the people you work with is stay in that practice yourself — which means being willing to look at the places where you're not yet fully inhabiting what you're asking others to step into. That's exactly what this reading is for.

  • This isn't therapy and it isn't ongoing coaching. It's a single deep read. Many people bring the video to their existing therapist or coach as material to work with. It can accelerate what's already in motion.

  • Item descriMost coaching looks at strategy. Most self-help asks you to become a better version of yourself. This goes underneath both. My approach is rooted in rewilding — returning you to your original nature, the version of you that existed before the world taught you to shrink, accommodate, and translate yourself into something easier to hold. The ROOTS AUDIT is where that work begins.ption

  • Because this is an introductory offer — a low-risk way for you to experience how I work and for me to get to know you and what you're building. You get something genuinely useful. I get a real sense of who you are before we go deeper together. And because it's not live, it doesn't require us to wrangle schedules. It's convenient by design.

If it resonates and you want to go further, there are ways to do that. But this is the place to start.
